We believe that skin elasticity is stimulated greatly by our lifestyle, hormones and skin circulation, but external effects are also created through different masks, pomades and creams. Let us not forget our personal astrology too, where Saturn is the ruler of our skin and bones and Mars as the planet of iron can also cause rashes and such.

Since ancient days the use of facials and creams has been known to help reduce skin imperfections and even to slow the aging process. That is why we want to share this #freshbasilcream recipe, that has a visible tightening effect on the #skin.

A fascinating scientific study showing a test cream that contained Basil Extract, has demonstrated significant anti-aging effects when applied topically. If you would like less smoke, instead of putting the incense directly on the charcoal, here's a trick: You know the little tin cup that tea lights come in? After you've burned the candle, rinse one out with hot water. It's okay if there's a little bit of wax left, but get out as much as you easily can. Put a very shallow layer of heat sink like sand or salt in the bottom of the cup, and then place the incense on top of that. Put the cup directly on top of the charcoal. This will melt and smolder the incense much more slowly, producing less #smoke and extending the burn. The tins can be reused several times. You can also purchase small mica plates designed for this purpose. For magic, use a large coin, which comes out of the #ritual charged as a talisman.

There are several other options for burning loose incense. You can use an electric burner. These are very popular in the Middle East and can be found in any Middle Eastern import shop and most halal grocers. Electric burners are a great idea if you burn a lot of #incense. They burn at a lower temperature, and so you get more smell but less smoke from the same amount. They're also a little more environmentally friendly, both in terms of minimising single-use charcoal and its packaging and because they put fewer particulates into the air. They are a good option for households with people who are mildly sensitive to smoke. Every electric burner is different; read the instructions before use. Obviously, if someone is very sensitive, incense just isn't a good choice, no matter how you burn it.

Loose incense can also be used to make #magical oils. You can also grind them into a fine powder and add makko powder to make cones. Makko powder is the ground bark of the Machilus thunbergii tree.
