E N E R G E T I C S

Appropriate for the honoring of Mars & the Warrior Spirit. Here are some aspects to be considered for Astrological remedial practices.

♦ Mars is in his fall (Cancer)
♦ Mars is in his detriment (Taurus or Libra)
♦ Mars is retrograde (as previously mentioned)
♦ You are a day chart (Mars is of the night sect)
♦ Mars is in a particularly detrimental place in the chart (house or angle)
♦ Mars is the ruler of OR placed in a profected house or active time lord period
♦ Mars is facing challenging aspects to planets which do not benefit him, or who stifle his proper expression
♦ Mars is significantly placed in the chart, having a lot of responsibilities or rulership over the life, but especially if Mars is not ‘well endowed’

The energy of Mars can be used in solving issues with under or over expressed anger, lack of motivation or laziness, blood flow, metabolism, muscle strength, overall vitality, immune function, lack of physical activity, avoiding confrontation to a detrimental degree, being afraid of conflict. On the flip side, making conflict where there shouldn’t be, not being able to stand up for yourself or others, not knowing when a fight is worth having, not being willing to have those that are, also, the extreme opposite, fear of competition, or having a tendency to make non-competitive scenarios competitive, excessive defensiveness or aggression.

THE THRACIAN STORY

In “The Essence of the Gods”, Cicero writes that the Romans knew four deities named Dionysus… One Dionysus conquered India, another went to Egypt and was called Osiris there, a third reached Iberia. And Sabazios – Dionysus is a Phrygian-Thracian king, the original source of many religions, the god of vegetation, agriculture and medicine, the continuation of the family, benefactor and giver of immortality. The cult of Sabazios / Dionysus was widespread in Phrygia and Thrace. Its roots must be traced back to 4-5000 years ago and around the 2nd millennium BC.

Dionysus was a great conqueror, teacher and savior.

Lucius Arian says that before the arrival of Dionysus in India, the local population were nomads who did not know cities. They dressed in skins, ate tree bark and raw meat. The Thracian god gave them fire, taught them to plow and sow, make wine, build, forge weapons, also gave them laws and religion, and of course put himself at the head of the new pantheon. According to Arian, Dionysus was the founder of the ancient Indian civilization.

Philostratus, Euripides, Hyginis, Cicero, Seneca, Apollodorus, Ovid, Nonus, Pliny, Strabo testify to the campaign.

The Thracians were known for carrying out large-scale migrations thousands of kilometers as an equestrian people.

The permanent presence of Paleo-Balkan peoples in India proves the existence of toponyms and hydronyms having parallels with those of the lands of the Thracian-Pelasgians. We are talking about the Vedic Imeus, Saryayu, Kubha, Meru, Bara, Rasa. They and thousands of others show the connection with ancient Thrace.

Lucius Arian writes that Dionysus gave religion to the Indians by placing himself at the head of the pantheon. In the Aryan religion, Brahma is the creator of the world. Brahma corresponds to Bromius – one of the names of the Thracian god. The name of Dionysus is also associated with that of the Vedic Dius Peter. He is known as the father of the gods and is depicted as a bull, as is Dionysus-Zagreus.

In the ancient Indian pantheon, Zemela, the goddess of the earth was called by the Indians Mata Prtivi-Mother Earth. Mata is the Bulgarian word mother-mother, and prtivi corresponds to our word soil, earth. In the pantheon of the Iranian-Aryans, Prtivi is called Zam (land). In the Puranas themselves, ancient Indian legends, we find confirmation of this. There are mentioned god-like brigus – chariot warriors, and we know who were the first people with chariots.

The essence of Orphism consists, on the one hand, in popularizing that part of the mysteries of Dionysus and the Mother Goddess which is not a secret bound by consecration, on the other, in reducing and overcoming differences between different religions and creating a universal, acceptable to all peoples philosophical-religious system, and giving hope to all that the immortal spark of the spirit can be ignited, the titanic beginning can be overcome and the Dionysian unity in each person can be restored. This requires enlightenment, strict asceticism, a ban on killing animals and eating their meat – as it reminds of the later Bogomilism. This is the real beginning and prototype of the younger religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam. (http://www.pamettanabulgarite.com/page/4155162:Page:403738)
