Returns & Exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges.
Contact me within: 3 days of delivery.
Dispatch items back within: 7 days of delivery.
I don’t accept cancellations, but please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
The following items can’t be returned or exchanged, because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can’t accept returns for: Custom or personalised orders, art pieces from the Art Section, perishable products, digital downloads, gift cards and items on sale.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- When the item has obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 3 days after delivery
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {eliza@thestarreader.com}.
Gifts
All our products are individually sealed, wrapped, hot waxed, breaded and packaged, so that they are naturally alluring as a gift for self or beloved others.
Processing time
The time I need to prepare an order for dispatch varies. For details, see individual items.
Estimated delivery times are:
Germany: 2-3 business days
United Kingdom: 5-14 business days
North America: 7-14 business days
Europe: 3-5 business days
Non EU: 5-10 business days
Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 3-5 business days
Canada: 10-25 business days
I’ll do my best to meet these dispatch estimates, but can’t guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the delivery method you choose.
Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I’m not responsible for delays due to customs.
