This 100% Rapeseed Oil Wax was hand poured on elected Moon day & Lunar hour. Consecrated for rituals embodying mystery and transformation.

HOW TO USE: Set your intention and honor the Dark Goddess. Use to discard negativity and for sacred ancestral ceremony. Lit candle is recommended to be burned until the whole wax liquefies before extinguishing it, otherwise the wax will creates “rings”. If rings were created, it is easy to scrub them off the pot walls helping them melt down.

Note – You can anoint the candle with Onça Anointing Oil before setting the intention.

HOW TO CARE:
– Burning candles should always be in a safe place and never left unattended or with children/pets.
– Do not burn candle completely, and dispose of it when it reaches its base and/or holder.
– Crystals can charged by Full Moonlight/Sunlight, and cleansed with warm sea salt water and/or sage.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

♦ BLACK STORAX BALSAM – Since ancient times Black Storax has been used to create an environment of calm and relaxation, it is also said to be an aid for insomniacs. It is burnt to protect against negativity in many magical traditions. It also has sensual, loving and inspiring qualities. Storax has a spiciness as well as a Moon-like coldness to it when it is raw, but when it burns, it changes character completely, becoming sweet and almost rose-like. Perhaps because of its watery nature, it is connected to the Moon, as in this recipe for Moon incense. In traditional Chinese medicine it is combined with musk, cloves, and benzoin to help bring someone back from coma. It also has the reputation of being an aphrodisiac.

♦ WHITE SAGE has long been burned to purify and cleanse a space. The ancients burned dried sprigs of sage in temples and during religious rituals. The Greeks and Romans wrote that the smoke imparted wisdom and mental acuity. In the tenth century, Arab physicians said that sage brought about immortality, or at the very least, a long and healthy life. In England, seventeenth-century servants of the royal family scattered a blend of sage and lavender on the floors at court to help disguise the aroma of day to day life. Also recommended for treatment of sexual disorders — either excessive sexual desire or a decreased libido. In other words, sage is pretty much the go-to herb for a number of ailments.

Known also as Ixchel or Ix Chel (Mayan: [iʃˈt͡ʃel]) is the 16th-century name of the aged jaguar goddess of midwifery and medicine in ancient Maya culture. She corresponds, more or less, to Toci Yoalticitl “Our Grandmother the Nocturnal Physician”, an Aztec earth goddess inhabiting the sweat bath, and is related to another Aztec goddess invoked at birth, viz. Cihuacoatl (or Ilamatecuhtli). Ixchel corresponds to the Goddess O. Ix Chel is the Grandmother, the midwife, the medicine woman. She controls the waters, rainbows and floods, and in her crone aspect, wears a snake in her hair, a universal symbol of regeneration. Sometimes portrayed as a young woman, sometimes as old, she is the mother of the jaguar wind gods, and like all midwives, she brings people into this world and takes them out.
