Panacea + Goden Immunity + Calming Respiratory

According to mysticism, at the inception of the Earth’s creation, five Goddesses decided to unite their forces: Ceres, Juno, Vesta, Pallas Athena, and the Moon. But the Moon decided not to participate at the last moment, so after the Earth was created, she continued to circle around, as Earth’s guardian satelite. Esoteric thought tells us that the Moon holds the crown of the universal fertility, symbol of the Godly essense, that is responsible for the development of human beings.

This BABA ONCA TEA OFFERING is dedicated to the Asteroid Goddess CERES (Demeter): Goddess of Agriculture and the Eleusinian Death/Rebirth Mysteries. Her Symbol is the Sickle to harvest wheat. Perhaps the role of Ceres was to teach us to live in harmony with mother Earth and to support you harvesting the bounty of your workings.

HOW TO USE: Steep 1 Tbsp into 1 cup of hot water. Steep for 7-10 min, strain, enjoy, and breathe deeply. Try varieties with lemon, lime and honey. Particulary tasty with a decaffeinated chai, or choice of warm latte or tea, incorporate 1 tsp. This blend comes in an 120 gr / 4.2 oz reusable black tin container. Once finished, the tin can be repurposed for other herbs or treasures.

BEST FOR: Maintaining lung health is crucial due to the potentially damaging results of toxic fumes, or trauma due to the current world events. Lung health encompasses all that is our respiratory system and according to Chinese medicine, is where we process grief and emotional trauma.

ORGANIC INGREDIENTS:

+ Linden (Tilia L.)
+ Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis)
+ St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum)
+ Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum)
+ Goldenrod (Solidago L.)
+ Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile)

KEY INGREDIENTS:

♦ Linden (Tilia L.) possesses soothing properties. It reduces mental stress and anxiety. It releases toxins from the body, by expeling salt, fat, water and foreign substances from the body. Stimulates proper digestion and may prevent chronic deseases. Lime blossom is also a traditional herbal remedy for viral infections, particularly of the upper respiratory tract. It can be used to push toxins and microbes out of the body through sweating, to speed recovery from an illness as a diaphoretic herb. It also relieves coughing by having a calming, anti-spasmodic effect.

♦ Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile). The chamomile plant (Matricaria recutita) has small daisy-like flowers with an apple-like scent. It is most commonly used in low doses to relieve anxiety and higher doses to promote sleep. Because this herb soothes nervous tension and gives the mind an overall sense of calmness, it allows people to be in more control of their attention.

♦ Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum) is cooling the body in summer. Regarded in India as a holy plant. It regulates blood pressure and helping migrane and headaches. Good for respiratory problems, relaving common cold and flue.

♦ Goldenrod (Solidago L.) is assosiated with the meridians of lung, live, gall bladder and kidney. Goldenrod can be extremely useful for upper respiratory congestion. Goldenrod’s astringency will help dry up all that congestion. During a cold and flu, goldenrod can also help alleviate an inflamed sore throat and help to break a fever by causing you to sweat.

The Ceres Story: Known also as Demeter, Freya, Godess of Harvest, grain and seasons. Mother of Persephone, wife of Hades. In Roman mythology she was the daughter of Saturn and Ops. She had several brothers and sisters: Juno, Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto and Vesta. She married her brother Jupiter and together they had a daughter named Proserpina.

Her festivals marked the different stages of the agricultural calendar. At the Paganalia festival when the seeds were sown, a pregnant sow was sacrificed to her and the earth goddess Tellus to ensure an abundant crop yield. Her main festival, the Cerealia was celebrated over seven days in late April. This encouraged the ripening of the crops and prevented pests and diseases. This Goddess was also celebrated both by communities and households in the Ambarvalia which was held each May.

The Mother Archetype is a life-giver and the source of nurturing, devotion, patience and unconditional love. The ability to forgive and provide for her children and put them before herself is the essence of a good mother. In its shadow aspect the Mother can be devouring, abusive and abandoning. The shadow Mother can also make her children feel guilty about becoming independent and leaving her.

Asteroids lie within three regions of the solar system. Most asteroids lie in a vast ring between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. This main asteroid belt holds more than 200 asteroids larger than 60 miles (100 km) in diameter. Scientists estimate the asteroid belt also contains between 1.1 million and 1.9 million asteroids larger than 1 km (3,281 feet) in diameter and millions of smaller ones.

Not everything in the main belt is an asteroid — Ceres, once thought of only as an asteroid, is now also considered a dwarf planet. Dwarf planet Ceres is the largest object in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter and the only dwarf planet located in the inner solar system. It was the first member of the asteroid belt to be discovered when Giuseppe Piazzi spotted it in 1801.
